The programme focused on HIV/AIDS awareness among youth under the Intensified IEC Campaign, highlighting the importance of accurate information, prevention, awareness and responsible health practices.
The programme was organized by the Red Ribbon Club, Haneefa Nursing College, in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir AIDS Control Society and J&K Paramedical and Nursing Council.

🌟 Expert Training Session on “Golden One Minute” 🌟
On 6th August 2026, we were privileged to welcome Dr. Waseem Iqbal, Pediatrician, to our college for an insightful and hands-on training session on the “Golden One Minute” for the B.Sc. Nursing 5th Semester students.
The session focused on strengthening students’ knowledge and practical skills in immediate newborn care and essential interventions during the first minute after birth. Dr. Waseem Iqbal shared his clinical expertise, practical insights, and valuable guidance, making the session highly informative and engaging for our future nurses.
We sincerely appreciate Dr. Waseem Iqbal for taking the time to train and inspire our students. 👨‍⚕️💙

Our World Breastfeeding Week 2026 Celebration was marked with enthusiastic participation from students, doctors, nursing faculty, teachers, and healthcare experts, coming together to spread awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and maternal–infant health.
The programme featured expert talks, interactive sessions, demonstrations, awareness activities, and active student participation, providing an engaging platform for learning and sharing knowledge about breastfeeding practices and maternal support.
