Meet one of the founders who recently arrived in Canada through our Soft Landing Program. Sachin Gulati, founder of TruMath, is an engineer by trade but has been an entrepreneur since his teenage years.
When Sachin started truly learning math, he fell in love with the subject and experienced a new way to relate to and communicate with the world. When he started to teach others math, he loved when his students would tell him how they apply what they're learning to everyday life.
So why does math, as a school subject, get such a bad rep? In most cases, teachers cannot communicate the topics at hand in a way that students can digest and apply.
With a desire to bring the joy of learning to students from all walks of life, Sachin spent years designing an interactive video lecture platform for students in grades 8-12 to learn this problematic subject at their own pace.
TruMath is now looking to expand into the North American Market to help teachers and students find a better way to connect and to help self-motivated learners who don't have the time for school upskill.
