CARG aims to explore and promote an industry-centric centre of excellence in the area of accounting, financial reporting and governance.
Focus of the CARG will be multidimensional in the sense it will actively engage the thought leaders from industry and academia to fulfill the objectives. Some of the key activity areas will include International Financial Reporting Standards, corporate governance, advances in costing, qualitative research in accounting and role of IT in accounting. CARG will have a continuous dialog with the corporate to keep abreast with contemporary thinking and practices in the key activity areas.
