Diwali Mela Report
Diwali Mela is synonymous to bonding with cultural roots and acquainting children to the rich Indian culture and heritage. On 11th November 2023, Jyoti Vidyapeeth School, Sonipat organized a Diwali Mela in the school premises. Stalls of home made food, handmade lampshades, painted diyas and hangings were also set up to let people go on a little shopping spree. There were various games and activities (Flip the bottle, Wire Buzzer, Baloon Blast, Throw the ring & win prizes, Musical Chair, Tambola, and Bouncy) which attracted the attention of students and their parents. Eatables of all sorts were also a part of the mela and were relished by one and all. The mela depicted the vibrance of this festival.
