Crawl.... Jump....Aim

Action, energy, and excitement filled the air as our PP-III champions took on an adventurous Obstacle Course to develop their Gross Motor Skills! ๐Ÿ’ช

The little learners began by crawling under the net like tiny explorers, strengthening their flexibility and coordination. They jumped over hurdles with great enthusiasm, building balance, agility, and confidence. The thrill continued as they carefully picked the ball and aimed to hit the solo skittle in front- a fun challenge that enhanced focus, precision and hand-eye coordination.

Every smile, jump, and crawl reflected determination to adapt to a restricted space, which developed specific motor planning, strength, and spatial awareness. Our young stars truly turned playtime into a power-packed learning experience! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ‘

PP-II Cognitive Skills Activity

RECOGNISE AND MATCH

Our enthusiastic PP-II learners at THE VEDIC ERA PROGRESSIVE SCHOOL participated in a fun activity to enhance their cognitive skills such as eye hand coordination and colour recognition.

The students swiftly moved both their hands simultaneously to place them on matching colours.

Such bilateral coordination boosts brain connectivity and enhances dexterity. It fosters whole-brain integration, thereby increasing cognitive flexibility and creativity- all skills extremely essential for performing complex tasks later on like sports etc.

PP-III Cognitive Skills Activity

Observe.... Think.....Match the sequence

PP-III learners of THE VEDIC ERA PROGRESSIVE SCHOOL participated in an engaging activity to enhance their cognitive skills. The activity was designed around colour matching and sequencing to strengthen observation, memory, and logical thinking.

Students matched the colour sequence with the one already given to them. The task required them to recognise the order of colours and reproduce it accurately, promoting attention to detail and pattern recognition.

A great fun filled way to promote cognitive abilities such as visual discrimination, sequencing, memory retention, and problem-solving.

No doubt, for our young kiddos learning is all about fun and interaction.

JUMP......STACK....GRAB THE TOY

What an action-packed gross motor skills session for our PP-I learners at THE VEDIC ERA PROGRESSIVE SCHOOL!!!

The kiddos jumped energetically over rings so that they could quickly stack away the cones, collect the toy and be seated on the chair. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and determination to be the first to complete the challenge.

Jumping over rings, helps train the leg muscles and develops core strength and body awareness.

Training for these skills goes a long way in achieving important developmental milestones through practice and play.๐Ÿ’ช
