DETAILED INFORMATION OF CosmoQuest Planetarium

The sky is full of strange and wonders. Everyone, whether knows science or not, is attracted by cosmos events like eclipses, moon phases, asteroid showers, comets & planets visibility or something happened in the sky. So, there are many myths and superstitions prevailed in society regards to these events. Observation of night sky is time consuming activity. So seeing the cosmos through planetarium is very interesting and knowledge giving also. This will enable the sky watchers to see and analyze the things scientifically. This exercise will obviously increase the reasoning and scientific thinking among the society.

The CosmoQuest Planetarium is available now in Haryana with objective to interact with students &Teachers about scientific explanations regarding celestial & planetary motion and enjoy the historical aspects of science. CosmoQuest Planetarium offers the visitors a chance to explore the sky on his/her own and gets opportunity to understand the concepts of the celestial sphere, ecliptic motion of the sun and planets, changes of sun rise and sun set points, constellation especially “Rasies, Nakshtra”(Zodiac Sign etc.). We are providing planetarium at your door step that will minimize the problem to visit a planetarium at some other place.
Sir/Madam, if you want to organize the mobile planetarium show in your school/Institution then the followings arrangements are needed:-
1. A dark room of size Width 20’x Length 30’x Height 13’. (Complete floor covering with Mats or Daries)
2. Non-interrupted Electricity supply.
3. The seating capacity of Dome is 25-30 students (Due to COVID-19 Protocol) in one show.
4. One hour lecture on Astrology & Astronomy for staff is also available, which required a lecture room and Projector.
About Participation:
 Average duration of one show is 30 minutes.
 The show is available for K.G – XII Students and Teachers also.
 Participation Fee for students is Negotiable.
 The show will be arranged after assent letter mentioning number of students and School timings.
