From tracing epidemics to evaluating healthcare interventions, the course turns real health questions into data-driven investigations, showing how insights from data can save lives, guide policies, and shape healthier societies.

Led by Prof. Harsh Parikh, Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at Yale University (PhD, Duke University), and Prof. Bhramar Mukherjee, Anna M.R. Lauder Professor of Biostatistics and Professor of Chronic Disease Epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health; Visiting Professor of Biology, Ashoka University; (PhD, Purdue University), the course introduces students to data science not just as analysis, but as a way to understand, explain, and improve the real world.

Through real memory cases, hands-on experiments, and insights from psychology and neuroscience, they explore how memories are formed, stored, forgotten, and sometimes remembered for a lifetime.
