A vibrant Fancy Dress Competition on the theme “Patriotism” was organized for the students of Nursery.

Our little participants dressed up as freedom fighters, soldiers, national leaders, and symbols of India, showcasing their love and pride for the nation.

The event was filled with enthusiasm, confidence, and colorful presentations. Through their adorable performances and patriotic spirit, the young learners beautifully expressed the values of courage, unity, and respect for our country.

A special assembly on the theme “Love for Nation – The Value of Freedom” was conducted by the students of LKG and UKG. Through simple thoughts, patriotic expressions, and enthusiastic participation, our little learners highlighted the importance of freedom and love for our country.

The assembly served as a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and inspired everyone to cherish and uphold the values of unity, respect, and responsibility.

A Celebration of Freedom and Patriotism

St. Jude’s Academy celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem.

The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Thomas Paul, was warmly welcomed by Rev. Fr. Thavamani, Principal, with a bouquet. The celebrations continued with a graceful prayer dance and a vibrant array of cultural performances that beautifully portrayed patriotism, unity, and India’s rich cultural heritage.

Rev. Fr. Thomas Paul addressed the students, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and inspiring them to value freedom, uphold unity, and become responsible citizens of the nation.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, teachers, students, and parents for making the celebration a memorable success.

🏅 Celebrating Excellence Beyond the Classroom 🏅

St. Jude's Academy proudly celebrated the achievements of its young learners during a Certificate Distribution Ceremony held in the School Auditorium.

The event honoured the winners of various Co-Curricular Activities Competitions, recognising their exceptional talent, creativity, confidence, and dedication.

Through a diverse range of competitions—including Debate, Poster Presentation, Nukkad Natak, Science Quiz, Paragraph Writing, Storytelling, and Reading Aloud—students explored meaningful themes such as Rights vs. Duties, Social Issues, Importance of Trees, and Rainy Day. These activities provided an enriching platform to nurture critical thinking, effective communication, creativity, and social awareness.

The tiny stars of LKG at St. Jude's Academy celebrated Lifesavers Day with a delightful and inspiring activity, "White Coat Wonders." Dressed as doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals, the young learners stepped into the shoes of our everyday heroes, expressing their admiration and gratitude for those who dedicate their lives to healing and caring for others.

Through engaging role play and interactive learning, the children explored the significance of compassion, kindness, and healthy living while gaining an appreciation for the invaluable contributions of the medical fraternity. Their confidence, enthusiasm, and charming performances made the celebration truly memorable.

Mother Teresa House of St. Jude's Academy proudly conducted a vibrant Co-Curricular Activities Day on 1st August 2026, providing students with meaningful opportunities to explore their talents, strengthen their confidence, and celebrate the spirit of patriotism.

The day came alive with enthusiastic participation in Patriotic Rhyme Recitation, Speech Competition, Poetry with Props, DIY Bookmark Making, Group Discussion on "Role of Students in Nation Building," and Patriotic Skit.

Every performance reflected creativity, thoughtful preparation, and a deep sense of national pride.

More than just competitions, these activities nurtured effective communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership while inspiring students to become compassionate, responsible, and socially conscious citizens.
