Voices of Great Characters: Inter-House English Character Portrayal (Monologue) Competition
The Inter-House English Character Portrayal (Monologue) Competition was conducted with great enthusiasm on 15 July 2026 at Bright Scholar Senior Secondary School for the students of Classes VI to VIII. The event provided a wonderful platform for students to portray renowned literary and historical characters through powerful monologues, showcasing their confidence, creativity, acting skills, pronunciation, voice modulation, and command over the English language. Their expressive performances reflected excellent preparation, imagination, and effective communication. The esteemed judges appreciated the participants' dedication and encouraged them to continue developing their public speaking and presentation skills.
The competition successfully promoted self-expression, stage confidence, and a love for literature while fostering healthy competition among the four houses. Nilgiri House secured the First Position, Aravali House stood Second, and Vindhyachal House secured the Third Position. The event concluded with the announcement of the results, followed by words of appreciation from the Principal, who congratulated all the participants, teachers, judges, and organisers for making the competition a grand success.
