𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬
Reaffirming its commitment to creating safe, inclusive and respectful learning spaces, 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 organised an enlightening Workshop on 𝐏𝐎𝐂𝐒𝐎 and 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐇 for educators and staff on 𝟏𝟏 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.
The highly engaging and interactive session was conducted by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐆𝐨𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐦𝐢, a seasoned 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐇 and 𝐏𝐎𝐂𝐒𝐎 trainer with over two decades of experience.
Through thought-provoking discussions, interactive activities and compelling real-life case studies, she highlighted the importance of creating safe, respectful and inclusive environments.
While 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐇 emphasised professional boundaries, workplace ethics and the need for formal communication to prevent harassment, 𝐏𝐎𝐂𝐒𝐎, a gender-neutral law, reinforced the collective responsibility of safeguarding children in today's digitally driven world.
A separate awareness session was also conducted for the Admin Department and the support staff, reiterating that knowledge is power and an empowered team is an effective team. The workshop equipped every member of the school fraternity with greater awareness, sensitivity and practical strategies to foster trust, dignity and safety across the campus.
