# Shortlisting of candidates for CBT 2 shall be done RRB wise at a ratio of 1:15, based on their merit in CBT 1.

# There will be NEGATIVE MARKING @ 1/3 rd mark for every wrong answer in both CBT 1 & CBT 2. No negative marking in the CBAT.

Recruitment process-

# CBT 1
Mathematics, Mental Ability, General science, General awareness.
A) CBT 1 only be a screening test for shortlisting eligible candidates for CBT 2.
B) CBT 1 marks shall not be counted while preparing the final panel.
C) Exam duration - 60 min
No. of question - 75
Normalization will be done.

# CBT 2
Part A ( 90 min, 100 question)
Mathematics, GI & Reasoning, Basic science and engineering.
Part B ( 60 min, 75 question)
Trade as per you prefer. Marks of CBT 2 will be counted while preparing final panel.
Only the marks scored in Part A shall be counted for shortlisting of candidates for further stage.
Candidates irrespective of community is able to score qualifying marks ( 35%) in Part B
CBAT
8 times of vacancies shall be shortlisted for CBAT on the basis of their marks in Part A of CBT 2 and qualify in Part B of CBT 2.
Candidates should produce their vision certificate in the prescribed format in original during the CBAT, falling which they will not be permitted to appear.
It is mandatory to clear each test battery of CBAT separately to qualify.
CBAT shall be only in English and Hindi, no Negative marking.
Candidates must secure a minimum T-score of 42 marks in each test battery separately to qualify in the CBAT.
70% weightage will be given for marks obtained in Part A of CBT 2 and 30% weightage for score obtained in the CBAT.
Documents verification
Shortlisted candidates for DV, will be produce all educational certificate and caste certificate ( for SC, ST, OBC) in original with photo copies.
Medical Examination
Shortlisted candidates are called for medical check up on railway hospital as per order.
