🍳🏆 Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026–27 – School Level 🏆🍳

Vivekanand Public School proudly conducted the Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026–27 – School Level Cooking Competition for students of Grades 6 to 9, providing a wonderful platform to showcase their culinary creativity, confidence, innovation and cooking skills. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

The competition featured two exciting categories:
🔥 Category I – Non-Fire Cooking
🍲 Category II – Fire Cooking

Our young chefs participated with great enthusiasm, creativity and confidence, making the competition a truly enriching and enjoyable learning experience. 👏✨

🚆 Educational Field Visit – Solapur Railway Station 🚆
Date: 20th August 2026 | Thursday

Students of Grade 5 & 6 visited Solapur Railway Station as part of an enriching educational field visit. The visit provided students with an opportunity to understand the functioning of the railway station, train operations, ticketing facilities, railway announcements, passenger services and important safety measures.

The students also gained practical knowledge about the role of railways in transportation and connecting people across different regions. It was a valuable learning experience that encouraged curiosity and learning beyond the classroom.

🇮🇳 80th Independence Day Celebration at Vivekanand Public School 🇮🇳
Date- 15th August, 2026 | Day- Saturday

Vivekanand Public School celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with pride and patriotic spirit.

We were honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Sourav Ekbote, B.Tech. Marine Engineer from Indian Maritime University, Mumbai, serving at sea since 2021 in ship operations, maintenance and safety.

A garland ceremony and two-minute silent prayer were held in remembrance of our recently departed student Mst. Yashwardhan Jadhav (Grade 5 Bhakti).

The celebration featured a special March Past by our students, an Independence Day English Speech by Miss. Aarohi Yedage, and a Hindi Speech by Mst. Vidhan Jain. Students who excelled in the Patriotic Singing Competition were felicitated with award by our chief guest.

Vivekanand Public School celebrated National Librarian Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India. 📖

The Grade 3 Shakti students presented a special performance to thank the Unsung Heroes of our school. The celebration also recognised the Top 3 Winners in the Best Reader Competition 2025-26 from each class, felicitating them with trophies and certificates. 🏆📜

​तिच्या या उल्लेखनीय यशाबद्दल शाळेच्या संचालिका सौ. संगीता सारडा, मुख्याध्यापिका आयेशा इनामदार आणि पर्यवेक्षिका वैभवी उपाध्ये ,इंदू दायमा यांनी श्रेयाचा पुष्पगुच्छ देऊन गौरव केला आणि पुढील राज्यस्तरीय स्पर्धेसाठी तिला मनःपूर्वक शुभेच्छादिल्या.
