The Training & Placement Cell, in association with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Vidya Vikas Pratishthan’s Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVPIET), organized a guest seminar titled “Emerging Trends in the Automation Sector” for T.Y. and B.Tech Electrical Engineering students at the Electrical Seminar Hall. The event took place under the leadership of Prof. P. P. Kulkarni (Head, T&P Cell) and Dr. S. S. Swamy (Head, Electrical Engineering Dept.), with Prof. A. A. Dhavale serving as the event coordinator. Prior to the session, the guest speaker, Mr. Shrikant Bidwai, Senior Consultant – Industry Academia Connect, Cadcamguru ,Pune, was formally felicitated by both Department Heads. During the expert session, Mr. Bidwai delivered an engaging talk on Industrial Automation, Industry 4.0, IoT, AI, Robotics, and Smart Manufacturing. He emphasized the core competencies required in today's market and guided students on building industry-aligned skill sets for future career opportunities.

T&P Cell Announcement Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CADCAMGURU

Vidya Vikas Pratishthan’s Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVPIET), Solapur, has officially signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CADCAMGURU, Pune, marking a significant milestone in strengthening industry–institute collaboration.

The MoU was formally executed and signed by Mr. Prasanna Joshi(Director) and Mr. Shrikant Bidwai(Senior Consultant – Industry Academia Connect) on behalf of CADCAMGURU, Pune, along with Prof. (Dr.) A. N. Gaikwad (Principal) and Prof. P. P. Kulkarni (Head – Training & Placement Cell) representing VVPIET. The event was also graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. S. N. Kulkarni (Principal, VVP Polytechnic) and Prof. Dr. S. D. Dongare HoD, Mechanical Engineering.

Through this partnership, CADCAMGURU will extend support to VVPIET students in four key areas: Expert Sessions, Internships, Industrial Visits, and Placement Support.

# 10-Day Placement Training Session Concluded at VVPIET, Solapur

Solapur, August 2026:The Training & Placement Cell of Vidya Vikas Pratishthan Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVPIET), Solapur**, successfully concluded a 10-day Placement Preparation Training Programme for final-year students of AIDS, ENTC, CSE, Electrical Engineering, and MCA.

Conducted in collaboration with **Quanta Leap Prep**, the programme focused on coding, technical skills, aptitude, problem-solving, and overall placement readiness. Experienced trainers Mr. Prabhat Chaubey, Mr. Nikhil Avanti, and Mr. Ajinkya Gaikwad guided students through interactive sessions and industry-oriented practice.
