It was a proud moment for MAEER’s MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools & Junior Colleges as Dr. Jyoti Jotwani, Project Director K–12, participated as a distinguished speaker and panellist at the Economic Times Great India School Summit 2026 in Mumbai.
In her interaction, Dr. Jyoti highlighted the need for comprehensive AI policy guardrails at the state and national levels, with student safety at the centre of implementation.
She emphasised three priorities: student data privacy, equitable access to AI, and flexible standards that ensure quality and security without limiting educational innovation.
She also advocated a phased, human-led approach to AI adoption, including data anonymisation, personalised learning diagnostics and educator review of AI-generated content—enabling safer, more equitable and responsible use of AI while preserving human oversight in education.
