GNIT Auditorium was a buzz with spectacular quizzing as the 13th BCC&I-GNIT Technology Quiz, organized by BCC&I, JIS Group, and Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, took place on March 16th, 2024. This engaging event brought together the bright quizzing talents of India, with 128 teams comprising 256 participants from Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and other parts of Eastern India, engaging in an exhilarating battle of intellect.
The team from IIM Calcutta (Mr Arnab Mandal and Mr Piyush Kedia) was the Winner, followed by KIIT University Bhubaneswar (Mr. Rohan Jayanti and Mr Anurag Samantaray) as 1st Runner Up and IIT Kharagpur (Mr. Ayush Sharma and Mr. Shobhyam Chakravarty) as 2nd Runner Up.. These talented quizers were honored with trophies, cash prizes, and exciting goodies.
The event was graced by eminent personalities from both the industry and academia such as Ms Jaspreet Kaur, Director, JIS Group along with Dr Swarup Kumar Mitra, Principal, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology other senior officials, professors of, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology also attended the event. Also delegates from different industries graced the event with there presence, Mr Ashutosh Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Business and Operations), State Bank of India, Shri Sanjay Sinha, Assistant General Manager, Personal Banking Business Unit, LHO Kolkata, State Bank of India; Mr. Santosh Prasad, Partner & Service Line Lead; Hybrid Cloud Transformation, GIC, IBM Consulting; Mr Partha Sengupta, Senior Vice President(I3L) & Head of IT Shared Services, ITC Limited; Mr. Jayanta Kr. Saha, Founder and CEO, Softthink Intelligent Solutions Pvt.
