S.Sorting. Sort out unnecessary item in work palace.Discard them.
(Seiri)How to do ?
Look around your work area and risk yourself "is it really necessary for all item to be there".Separate Ok items.reworkable and rejected items.And disposethe reject items.
2. S. Systematics. Arrange necessary
(Seiton) items in good order so that the can be easily picked for use.A place for every thing and everything in its palace.
Clearly identify the item by proper labelling .Items must be placed in prefixed location with easy access and easy picking.
3. S. Shining. Clean the workplace completely so that there is no dust on floor. and machine etc.
(Seiso) Ensuring work place and machines are cleaned properly.
4. S. Standard Maintan high standard (Seketsu) of housekeeping and work place at all time.
5.S. Self descipline. Train people to (Sh*tsuke) follow good housekeeping discipline autonomously.
