Our 1st-year B.Arch. students from MEPCO School of Architecture (MSA), MSEC, had an enriching experience visiting the historic Madavar Vilagam Vaithiyanatha Swamy Temple, Srivilliputhur on 06.09.2024, as part of their induction program 2024 - 25.
This visit offered students a unique opportunity to delve into the details of traditional South Indian temple Architecture, understand the cultural significance, and draw inspirations for their architectural journey ahead.

As part of Building Construction course, 2nd year ( 3rd sem) B.Arch students visited Vellur kumarapuram village on 09-09-2024 to study about basic building materials. Students were enriched to see the buildings in the rural village made out of basic materials such as stones, mud, lime, bricks and timber. Students documented the applications of these natural materials in the village and were inspired by the vernacular Architecture and construction methods.

Sreemathy, of Visvas promoters at Ponmeni Madurai and Aravind Apartments Designed by Ar.
