🌟 *Learning Beyond Books at DAV Police Public School!* 🌟
Today, our little champs of Class-3 brought SST Chapter-3 'Our Food' to life – straight from textbooks to their plates! 🍱
Under the *'Community Lunch'* activity, every child brought different homemade delicacies – from mom’s special parathas to grandma’s famous idlis, Sandwich, Poha and home made soft drinks. The best part? *Not a single disposable plate or plastic was used!* ♻️
*Our responsible students carried their *own steel plates, glasses, and spoons from home, giving a beautiful message of saving the environment. By sharing their food, they truly understood that *'Sharing is Caring'* is not just a lesson, but a value to live by.
Through this activity, children learned:
✅ Diversity of food in India
✅ Importance of a balanced diet
✅ Why we should not waste food
✅ Responsibility towards the environment

Students of Classes 4th to 9th of DAV Police Public School Sirsa brought laurels to the school by winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the District Level Wushu Championship organized by the District Wushu Sports Association Sirsa at Ajay Vatika on 16th May. The young achievers displayed remarkable strength, confidence and sportsmanship during the championship and made the school proud with their outstanding performance.
It is a matter of great pride that all the Gold Medal winners have been selected for the State Level Championship.
Hon’ble Principal Sir Sh. Narinder Singh Dahiya congratulated all the winners for their brilliant achievement and motivated them to continue working hard with dedication and discipline. He also wished them good luck for their future endeavours and the upcoming state level competition.

The English Department of DAV Police Public School Sirsa organised an English Declamation Competition today for the students of Classes 6th to 9th. The competition was conducted house-wise and witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students.
The participants spoke confidently on various topics and beautifully exhibited their speaking abilities, confidence, pronunciation, expression and command over the language. The event provided a wonderful platform for students to enhance their communication skills and boost their self-confidence.
Hon'ble Principal Sir, Mr. Narinder Singh Dahiya, presided over the event and motivated the students to participate actively in such competitions. He encouraged them by saying that these platforms play a vital role in enhancing students’ skills, knowledge and overall personality development.
The competition concluded successfully with great zeal, enthusiasm and learning spirit among the students.

Today, DAV Police Public School Sirsa was blessed by the gracious visit of prominent spiritual Gurus and Scholars from Brahma Kumaris Ashram — Mr. Hitesh Tuteja, Mr. Ram Niwas, and Ms. Gursimar Kaur. The distinguished guests enlightened the students with their inspiring thoughts on moral values, self-discipline, inner peace, and the importance of staying away from addictions and harmful habits.

Mother’s Day Celebration at DAV Police Public School, Sirsa !!
Mother’s Day was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm today at DAV Police Public School, Sirsa. The event witnessed the energetic participation of teachers, students from Class Nursery to 2nd, and mothers of children up to Class 2nd. The entire school campus echoed with happiness, love, and togetherness.
A number of wonderful performances and fun-filled activities were organised for the tiny toddlers and their mothers. The little children mesmerized everyone with their innocent and heart-touching performances. Mothers also actively participated in various games and activities and enjoyed every moment of the celebration with great excitement.
The main attraction of the event was the beautiful bonding reflected through the matching attires worn by mothers and their children in the same colour combinations. This added a special charm and emotional touch to the celebration.

DAV Police Public School, Sirsa witnessed an enlightening and highly informative session as a team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) visited the campus to educate students about safety measures during natural calamities.
The NDRF team sensitized students about various disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and fire emergencies, and guided them on how to respond effectively in such critical situations. What made the session truly impactful was the live and practical demonstrations conducted by the team members. Students were trained through hands-on activities, learning essential life-saving techniques and emergency response skills.
The session not only enhanced awareness but also instilled confidence among students to face unforeseen situations with courage and preparedness. Such initiatives play a vital role in shaping responsible and alert citizens of tomorrow.

Labour Day was celebrated today at DAV Police Public School, Sirsa with great respect and gratitude. The occasion was dedicated to acknowledging the invaluable contribution of our helpers and Group D employees, who play a vital role in the smooth functioning of the school.
All the supporting staff members were honoured with tokens of appreciation and gifts, presented by our Hon’ble Principal, Sh. Narender Singh Dahiya, as a gesture of respect and recognition for their tireless efforts and dedication.
The programme was beautifully anchored by Hindi teacher Mrs. Sushma Rani, who conducted the event with grace and warmth.
