Dear Friends / seniors / juniors and all,
My friend Mukta Negi, 19-year-old, Uttarakhand, India, is been suffering from Bone Marrow Cancer. She is from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Almora, Uttarakhand. Currently, she is diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and under treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center vide CR No. 203157. She requires intensive chemotherapy followed by Allogenic stem cell transplant. The approximate total cost of treatment is will be Rs. 20,00,000 /-.
On behalf her family, we request you all to help Mukta in her fight against cancer. We just want her family to not have the financial burden on their heads. This financial burden of the increasing medical expenses is the last thing we want her family stressing over.

Dear Brothers / Sisters,

The (8th batch) is very happy to share with you regarding second success of “Help A Friend”.

First of all, I would like to thank the 8th batch for excellent coordination and participation in all the events.

1. Initially we helped late. Sayyanna’s Family with Rs. 50,000/- in 2005-06.

2. At present we all are planning to help P Rajesh for his “Hip replacement surgery”, he is from poor family background and handicapped since childhood, we collected the amount of Rs.1,50,000/- for his surgery.

Now the surgery cost has reached more than Rs.2,20,000/-, still we need some financial support from YOU ALL.
