English Prepositions: Made Of vs Made From
Many learners confuse these.
Use MADE OF
→ when the material stays the same.
Example
The table is made of wood
The bottle is made of glass
Use MADE FROM
→ when the material changes after processing.
Example
Paper is made from trees
Cheese is made from milk

Mathematics IS or ARE? 🤯

Some English words look plural but take a singular verb.

Rule:
If the noun refers to one subject or idea, use IS, even if it ends with “s.”

Especially vs Specially ❌ Most People Use This Wrong

1 letter difference.
Completely different meaning.
Especially → particularly / more than others
Specially → for a specific purpose
Examples: I love sports, especially cricket.
This cake was made specially for you.
Important: In modern English, “especially” is also used in purpose sentences.
But in grammar exams, the difference still matters.

You’re Probably Pronouncing “THE” Wrong 😳

There are TWO ways to pronounce “the” — and most people use only one.
✔ /ðə/ → before a consonant sound
✔ /ðiː/ → before a vowel sound
Example: the table
the letter
the apple
the end
And yes — there’s a slight /y/ glide in connected speech: “thee-yapple” “thee-yend”
Small change. Massive difference in fluency.
