▪️প্রথম এক দিবসীয় মহিলা ক্রিকেট বিশ্বকাপ প্রতিযোগিতা শুরু হয় ১৯৭৩ সালে এবং উদ্ধোধনী আসর বসে ইংল্যান্ডে।

▪️পুরুষদের এক দিবসীয় বিশ্বকাপ ক্রিকেট প্রতিযোগিতা এর দুই বছর পরে ১৯৭৫ সালে ইংল্যান্ডে শুরু হয়েছিল।

World Hearing Day
(বিশ্ব শ্রবণ দিবস)

▪️World Hearing Day is observed on March 3rd in every year by the Office of Prevention of Blindness and Deafness of the World Health Organization (WHO).

▪️The day aims to share information and promote actions towards the prevention of hearing loss and improved hearing care.

▪️The theme for World Hearing Day 2022 is “To hear for life, listen with care”.

▪️In adults, noise control, safe listening and surveillance of ototoxic (having a toxic effect on the ear) medicines together with good ear hygiene can help maintain good hearing and reduce the potential for hearing loss.

▪️The Union Ministry of Environment and Forests has issued guidelines for maximum allowable noise level is 90 dB (Decibel).

▪️Our normal conversation is about 60 dB, noise of a jet plane is around 140 dB and that of firecrackers are in the range of 80-100 dB.

▪️National Science Day or Rashtriya Vigyan Divas is celebrated on February 28 to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by Indian physicist Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman.

▪️He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics (1930) for his work on "the scattering of light and for the discovery of the effect" named "Raman Effect".

▪️CV Raman discovered Raman Effect while working in the laboratory of the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata.

▪️The theme of National Science Day 2022 is ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future’.

▪️The first National Science Day was celebrated on February 28, 1987, on recommendation of the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) to Government of India.
