Small in numbers. HUGE in spirit.

Independence Day at our school was celebrated today with our SMC members, dedicated staff and wonderful children. The Tiranga rose high, the National Anthem echoed, and Vande Mataram filled the air with pride.

It may have been a small gathering, but some moments don’t need a crowd to become memorable. When hearts stand together for the nation, even a small gathering becomes a celebration of something BIG.

A little school. A little gathering. A whole lot of INDIA. Jai Hind!!!

Staying Safe in the Real & Digital World

Today, our school had the privilege of hosting police officials from Rangpo for an insightful awareness drive for the students of Grades 9 and 10.
The session focused on three crucial areas; "Cyber Crime & Online Safety, Girl Students’ Safety, and Substance Abuse" Students were sensitised about responsible digital behaviour, recognising unsafe situations, avoiding harmful substances, and seeking timely help when faced with danger or harassment.

The officials also shared important emergency helpline numbers:

Police Emergency: 112
Cyber Fraud Helpline: 1930
Women’s Safety Helpline: 181

We express our sincere gratitude to Shri Sameer Pradhan, SDPO, Rangpo, and Shri Ashwin Rai, SI, Rangpo Police Outpost, for their valuable time, guidance and interaction with our students.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to the police team for their thoughtful gifts of volleyballs, footballs and badminton equipment. These sporting gifts will not only encourage our children to participate actively in sports but also serve as a wonderful motivation towards a healthier, more disciplined and positive lifestyle.
An enlightening session, an important message, and a meaningful gesture of encouragement, our students truly benefitted from this valuable interaction.

Everyday conversations often become the best classrooms. Today, two of my Grade 3 children stopped by, and while watching the colourful fish in the aquarium, a simple conversation in English naturally unfolded.

Learning truly happens anywhere, anytime. Watching my children slowly come out of their shells, gain confidence, and express themselves in English fills my heart with joy. These little everyday moments make my work meaningful and remind me why I love being a teacher,a truly proud Head. 🫠🧿🙂

Three days into our Language Enrichment Programme, and it has already transformed the rhythm of our schools. It has every child engaged, every teacher challenged, and everyone stepping beyond their comfort zone.
Yes, it is new. Yes, it is demanding. And yes, it is exhausting.
But meaningful change is never born out of comfort. Every drop of sweat, every extra effort, and every challenge we embrace today is an investment in our children's tomorrow.
We may be tired, but our determination is stronger than our fatigue. Our grit is greater than the challenge.

Learning doesn’t always begin with a textbook. It often starts with a moment of wonder. As she stood mesmerised by the aquarium and the fishes swimming freely, I gently asked her to count the fish and name their colours. With sparkling eyes she answered every question with confidence.
A gentle reminder that the best learning happens naturally, through curiosity, conversation, and everyday experiences. When children are allowed to learn at their own pace, even the simplest moments become the most meaningful. ☺️🧿💯

Every crayon stroke, every careful match, and every tiny grip strengthens hand and eye coordination, nurtures fine motor skills, and quietly lays the foundation for confident writing and independent learning. Childhood isn't about racing ahead. Rather it's about mastering the little things that matter most.
Sitting beside these tiny tots, watching them learn one stroke at a time, always takes me back to the simplest and most beautiful memories of my childhood. Those little moments remind me that the strongest foundations are built with patience, love, and countless tiny victories.

The most beautiful classrooms are the ones where children lift each other up.
When children teach children, learning becomes effortless. Peer mentoring doesn't just strengthen concepts. It builds confidence, responsibility, communication, and leadership. Today, our little mentor led her friends through sound practice while gently reminding them to stand tall with hands behind their backs. Learning, leading, and growing together,that's the magic of peer mentoring and it also proves that every child has something valuable to teach.

Back in action, stronger than ever!

With the new session underway, our NCC unit is buzzing with renewed energy. Our seasoned cadets are leading by example, while the new recruits have stepped in with enthusiasm and determination. Every drill, every command, led by their Teacher, Raju Sir, and every step forward marks the beginning of another journey of discipline, leadership, and service.
Here's to fresh beginnings, stronger spirits, and marching ahead with pride. Way to go, cadets! Touchwood!!!
