Republic Day Celebration at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Silvassa

The Republic Day celebration on 26th January 2025 at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Silvassa, was a grand and patriotic event centered on the theme ‘Duties and Responsibilities of Citizens’.

The event commenced with a prayer, followed by the flag hoisting by the Chief Guest and Pujya Swamiji. The National Anthem and Zanda Geet filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervor. A soulful instrumental patriotic song by students received immense appreciation.

Doctors and educators were invited as special guests and recognized for their contributions to society.
A patriotic song, a thought-provoking drama, a group speech on Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas, and energetic dance performances showcased the spirit of nationalism.
A PowerPoint presentation highlighted the historic meeting between Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, along with insights into the Chipko Movement.
Winners of various sports and karate competitions were felicitated.
Students recited shlokas from Satsang Diksha, emphasizing values and good conduct.
The Chief Guest spoke on the responsibilities of young citizens, while Principal Riyanka Arzare Ma’am encouraged students to uphold constitutional values and appreciate the contributions of community helpers.

Special KG Fancy Dress Event

Adding charm to the celebration, the Kindergarten section held a vibrant Fancy Dress event where tiny tots dressed as freedom fighters, national leaders, and community helpers, instilling patriotism from a young age.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the distribution of Prasad, leaving everyone inspired with a sense of unity, gratitude, and national pride.

Drawing Competition Success for Our Students

Drawing Competition on energy conservation was organized by Power Grid, DNH & DD, with an overwhelming participation of around 10,000 students. Out of these, 200 students were selected for the next round, and finally, 100 students made it to the final round. These were divided into two categories: Category A and Category B, with 50 students in each category.

In both categories, prizes were awarded to the top performers, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, along with 10 consolation prizes.

From our school, Gunjan Sankhlecha, secured 1st place and Veertaben Dharmavat won 3rd place in Category A, while Tanvi Khawase achieved 1st place in the consolation category in Category B.

All the winners were honored with medals and certificates for their outstanding performances.

Additionally, Gunjan Sankhlecha and Veertaben Dharmavat have qualified to represent our school at the national level.

We are proud of their achievements and wish them success in the upcoming rounds!

BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 1st Prize in the District Level Inter-School Competition. This victory is a testament to the hard work and dedication of its students, guided by the school's unwavering commitment to excellence.

A special mention goes to Swayam Patil of 11th Standard and Sai Yashwanth of 10th Standard, whose outstanding performance played a pivotal role in this success. Their efforts have brought immense pride to the school and inspired their peers to aim for greater heights.

BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Silvassa, celebrated Diwali and Ankoot Mahotsav with great enthusiasm and devotion.
The Diwali celebration featured a lively atmosphere with beautifully crafted rangoli, traditional diya lighting, and activities centered around the themes of Diwali and its message of goodness and enlightenment.
Ankoot Mahotsav, a festival dedicated to offering gratitude and devotion, was the highlight of the celebrations. Teachers and students worked together to prepare an elaborate "Ankoot" – a grand offering of various food items arranged beautifully as an offering to God. The event included devotional activities like bhajans, aarti, and prayers, fostering a sense of unity and reverence among everyone present.
The event concluded on a high note, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for tradition and community spirit.
Under the guidance of Dr Madam Mrs Rita Vyas and Principal Riyanka Arzare, the event highlighted the school’s commitment to preserving cultural and spiritual traditions.

Students from BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir recently had an enriching factory visit, gaining firsthand insights into modern manufacturing processes and industrial operations. The excursion allowed students to observe various stages of production, fostering curiosity and understanding of practical applications beyond the classroom. Principal Riyanka Arzare played a pivotal role in organizing this educational experience, ensuring that students could bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world exposure. Her dedication to holistic learning and innovative education has been instrumental in providing students with opportunities like this, enhancing their academic journey and broadening their perspectives on potential career paths.

Students of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir shone brightly at Astra Fest 2024 at Jiwrajika International School, Samarvarni showcasing their talents in various competitions. We are proud to announce the achievements of our young stars who excelled across multiple events.
Aaryahi Dheeraj Sharma from Class 6-A secured 1st place in "Poem Recitation" with her eloquent performance. In the Spellathon, Nirvee Daru from Class 4-A achieved a commendable 3rd place. The dynamic duo, Devam Dubey and Sai Yashwanth Sadhanala, claimed the 1st place in the "GK Quiz" with their impressive knowledge.
Our students also excelled in Sudoku. Pardesi Bala Aditya achieved 2nd place in the 6-8 class category, while Saurabh Rajpurohit secured 1st place in the 11-12 class category.

बीएपीएस स्वामीनारायण विद्यालय, सिलवासा के केजी सेक्शन में आयोजित हिंदी काव्य पाठ प्रतियोगिता ने बच्चों की प्रतिभा और भाषा के प्रति प्रेम को उजागर किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में नन्हें-मुन्ने छात्रों ने पूरे जोश और आत्मविश्वास के साथ अपनी कविताओं का प्रस्तुतीकरण किया। उनकी मधुर आवाज़ और भावपूर्ण अभिव्यक्ति ने सभी श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। बच्चों ने विभिन्न विषयों पर आधारित कविताएँ प्रस्तुत कीं, जिसमें प्रकृति, देशभक्ति, और नैतिक शिक्षा जैसे विषयों को सुंदर ढंग से उकेरा गया। इस प्रतियोगिता ने बच्चों को हिंदी भाषा के महत्व को समझने और अपनी अभिव्यक्तियों को सशक्त रूप में प्रस्तुत करने का अवसर प्रदान किया।

The English Poem Recitation event was held at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Silvassa, for the KG section, providing a platform for young students to showcase their talent and confidence. The little ones delivered their poems with enthusiasm, expression, and clarity, impressing the audience with their confidence at such a tender age. The event was a wonderful blend of creativity and learning, fostering the children's love for language and literature. It also encouraged them to develop their public speaking skills and express themselves freely. The program was a delightful success, leaving everyone inspired by the young talent on display. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed judges for their time, effort, and thoughtful evaluation in making this event a success.
