We deeply mourn the sad demise of our respected and beloved teacher Sri Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya. During his tenure in the school, sir had nurtured a huge student-base. A very strict and disciplined gentleman who was famous for his teaching and administrative approach, has started his journey to heaven.

SBHSAA is saddened to share that our founder member Sri Anirban Paul left for the heavenly abode today.
He was an extremely talented artist and academically brilliant in schooldays.
We deeply mourn this untimely demise of the artist of EKAI EKSHO logo on the centenary of the school.

SBHSAA deeply mourns the sad demise of the legendary teacher and writer of Siliguri, Sasthi Bagchi Sir.
Sir was our alumni and sent his blessings on the establishment of the alumni association. He is considered to be one of the finest teachers of literature in North Bengal. Beside his outstanding knowledge in English and Bangla, he was a noted writer who's writings were published in Desh, Patrika, Ajkal, The Statesman etc.

Bidurin Chakraborty, who passed out from SBHS in 2008 and a member of SBHSAA is suffering from Blood Cancer which relapsed after 20 years. The doctors of Tata Medical Centre advised Bone Marrow Transplantation within September 2018. The operative cost is expected to reach Rs.35 Lakhs.

Yesterday, our very own Basunia Sir retired from teaching.. He had been much more than just a game teacher. We never forget him commanding with the whistle in mouth during the prayers in school..
