Participation in the AI for Good Global Summit 2026, organized by the United Nations and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, Switzerland, was a truly enriching and memorable experience. It was an honor that the research paper was selected among 57 papers out of 113 submissions from 32 countries, providing an excellent opportunity to present the research and engage with leading experts and researchers from around the world.

Congratulations to Dr. Kyamelia Roy, Lecturer, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETCE), Siliguri Government Polytechnic, on this remarkable international achievement.

শিলিগুড়ি, ১৭ জুলাই: আজ শিলিগুড়ি গভর্নমেন্ট পলিটেকনিক প্রাঙ্গণে “ভেক্টর কন্ট্রোল ইনিশিয়েটিভ” শীর্ষক একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সচেতনতামূলক ও পরিবেশবান্ধব কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করা হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা করেন প্রতিষ্ঠানের অধ্যক্ষ। উপস্থিত ছিলেন সকল শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকা ও অশিক্ষক কর্মচারীবৃন্দ।

অনুষ্ঠানের মূল লক্ষ্য ছিল পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ ও মশাবাহিত রোগ প্রতিরোধ সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি।

এদিন সকল ছাত্রছাত্রী উৎসাহের সঙ্গে অংশগ্রহণ করে এবং শিক্ষক ও কর্মচারীদের সঙ্গে মিলিতভাবে ক্যাম্পাসের বিভিন্ন স্থানে বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির গাছের চারা রোপণ করে।

অধ্যক্ষ তার বক্তব্যে বলেন, “পরিবেশ রক্ষা ও স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষার জন্য গাছ লাগানো অত্যন্ত জরুরি। এই ধরনের উদ্যোগ ছাত্রছাত্রীদের মধ্যে দায়িত্ববোধ ও সচেতনতা বাড়ায়।”
পুরো কর্মসূচি জুড়ে ছিল উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশ।

ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণ এবং সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টায় ক্যাম্পাস সবুজায়নের এক সুন্দর দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপিত হয়। এই উদ্যোগ ভবিষ্যতেও অব্যাহত থাকবে।
