The ICAI Siliguri Branch is pleased to share that the Seminar on GST Annual Filing and Accounting Standards was conducted very successfully, with two highly insightful and impactful sessions.

The first session by CA Bhawna Singhal on GST Annual Returns – GSTR-9 & 9C was comprehensive and practically oriented, providing participants with much-needed clarity on critical compliance aspects and common issues faced during annual filings.

The second session by CA Rajesh Kalyani on Accounting Standards – AS 7, AS 16 and AS 18 was equally enriching, offering deep conceptual understanding along with practical applicability relevant to professional practice.

Both speakers delivered the sessions with exceptional clarity, depth, and engagement, making the seminar a truly valuable learning experience.

The Branch sincerely appreciates the efforts of the speakers and the enthusiastic participation of members, which contributed significantly to the success of the program.

🏆 Proud Recognition for ICAI Siliguri Branch! 🏆

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Siliguri Branch has been honored with the *North Bengal Icon Award* by Dainik Jagran for its exceptional work in Financial Awareness and Literacy.

The award was presented by His Excellency Shri Om Prakash Mathur, Governor of Sikkim, and Shri Raju Bista, Member of Parliament (Darjeeling Constituency).

The New Income Tax Bill, 2025 is here. It is set to replace the existing Income Tax Act, 1961 w.e.f from 01.04.2026.

Siliguri Branch is organizing a seminar on the New Income Tax Bill,2025 on 14th February, 2025 at ICAI Bhawan from 10.30 am.
