Orbital Watch — Live Satellite Tracking & Orbital Intelligence Dashboard, developed by AstroNeer, a student initiative of the SIT Astronomy and Space Club.

In its initial phase, Orbital Watch focuses on making complex satellite and orbital information easier to understand, explore, and visualize through a web-based interactive platform.

The system uses publicly available orbital data from CelesTrak, processes it using Skyfield and SGP4, and presents the results through a dashboard built with React, TypeScript, and FastAPI.

The platform provides key information including satellite position, elevation, azimuth, distance from the observer, horizon status, and upcoming satellite passes, bringing complex orbital data together in a simple and accessible interface.

Software Team AstroNeer : Swastik Chatterjee, Anantajit Das, Snigdha Bhowmick, Adrija Hati, Sudeshna Pal, Raumakh Paul, Aditi Bhattacharjee.

Project: Orbital Watch
Club: AstroNeer — SIT Astronomy and Space Club
