✨ Engineers’ Day 2025 Celebration – A Resounding Success! ✨

The Electrical Engineering Society (EES) proudly organized Engineers’ Day 2025 at our institution on 15th September 2025 in the JC Bose Seminar Hall. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various engineering departments, making the celebration vibrant and memorable.

💡 Highlights of the Day:
🎤 Debate Competition – On the thought-provoking topic “Artificial Intelligence will create more opportunities than it will take away for engineers in India’s Techade”, participants showcased sharp reasoning and strong viewpoints.
🧠 Quiz Competition – Based on the theme “Deep Tech & Engineering Excellence: Driving India’s Techade”, it tested knowledge, teamwork, and quick thinking.
🎨 Poster Competition – With the theme “Paint Innovation, Draw Sustainability, Inspire Progress”, students displayed their creativity and vision for a sustainable future.
The departmental newsletter - ELECTROWRITE 2025 was also published on that day.
Various projects made by the members of Utkarsh Innovation Club also was demonstrated.
The active involvement, innovative ideas, and outstanding performances of our students made this celebration truly special. 🌟

✨ Inauguration of Wall Magazine GENEEUS 2025 ✨

On the auspicious occasion of Teachers’ Day (5th September 2025), the 2nd Year students of the Electrical Engineering Department proudly presented the annual wall magazine GENEEUS 2025 under the banner of the Electrical Engineering Society (EES).
The event was graced by Dr. Arup Das, HOD, EE Department, who inaugurated the wall magazine and congratulated the students for their dedication and creativity.
📌 This year’s theme – “AI: The Brain Behind Electrical Innovation” – highlights the relevance of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of Electrical Engineering, making it a highly engaging and contemporary choice.
Dr. Das also encouraged students to continue this tradition with the same enthusiasm and inspire upcoming batches to contribute their innovative ideas in the years to come.

📢 Industrial Visit at Moon Beverages Ltd. – A Learning Beyond Classrooms! 🏭

On 2nd April 2025, the students of 4th and 6th Semester, B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (2027 & 2026 pass-out batches) participated in an industrial visit to Moon Beverages Limited, Raninagar, Jalpaiguri.

🕥 Time: 10:30 AM – 04:00 PM
📍 Venue: Moon Beverages Limited, Raninagar, Jalpaiguri

🔍 The Objective was to provide students with practical exposure to the workings of a fully automated industrial environment, helping them understand real-time applications of their academic knowledge.
