The trees are our best friends. They give us sweet fruits, cool shade, and fresh air to breathe. The rivers sing for us, the birds fly for us, and the flowers bloom to make us smile. But our friend Earth needs our help to stay clean and green.

This World Environment Day, let us make a small promise. We will plant one tiny sapling and call it our green friend. We will not waste water and always put trash in the dustbin. We will love the butterflies, the trees, and the blue sky.

Summer holidays are here! While you enjoy your break, be a little explorer too. Watch the butterflies, listen to the birds, plant a tiny seed and see it grow. Read your favorite storybook, help your parents, draw the sky, and drink lots of water. Every small thing you do for nature makes our Earth smile. North Bengal Central School, our Class 1 students had fun doing a preposition activity With toys, books, and classroom objects, they learned words like _in, on, under, beside,_ and _behind_ through play. The little ones enjoyed placing items “on the table,” putting blocks “under the chair,” and standing “beside” their friends. It was a joyful way to make English grammar easy and memorable.*

With steady hands and focused eyes, kids carefully balance pom-poms on spoons, moving them without a single drop. This simple yet powerful game builds hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, patience, and self-control — all while keeping learning playful.

Learning through tiny fingertips! 🍝✨
our little artists at North Bengal Central School, explored “Lines” with a delicious pasta activity. Using pasta pieces, kids created standing lines, sleeping lines, slanting lines, zig-zag, and curved lines on their boards. It was fun, hands-on, and perfect for building fine motor skills while understanding pre-writing shapes. From sleepy lines to tall standing ones, every pasta line told a story of creativity and focus.

Celebrating the heart of every home 💝 This Mother’s Day, our kids poured love into handmade cards, flower crafts, and sweet performances just for Mom. From thumbprint bouquets to “Why I Love My Mom” drawings, every activity was a hug on paper. The little ones also sang rhymes and shared special moments to honor the endless care, warmth, and strength of mothers. Thank you, dear Moms, for being our first teachers and forever friends. Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸👩‍👧‍👦

*Late Post: Earth Day Celebration at School*

Though a little late, we had celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April 2026 with great enthusiasm in school. Our little artists from junior class to higher class participated in a drawing competition on the theme “Save Our Planet”. With bright colors and big imagination, the kids drew trees, and a cleaner Earth. It was heartwarming to see their love for nature on paper. Through art, they learned that even small hands can help make the Earth green and happy. 🌍✨
