Auxilium Convent School, Siliguri celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Students presented inspiring speeches, patriotic songs, dances, and cultural performances that highlighted the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the values of unity, peace, and national pride.
The celebration was made even more special by the gracious presence and active participation of the Auxilium Convent School Alumni Association. Among the distinguished alumni present were Dr. Aiyush Jain, MBBS, MD, Consultant Pulmonologist; Ms. Ruchhika Agarwal, Chartered Accountant; and Mr. Sattik Bhowmik, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and alumnus of Minerva University, San Francisco, California, USA, who is presently undergoing training under NASA GSFC scholars.
Their presence added warmth and significance to the occasion as they joined the school community in honouring the spirit of freedom and strengthening the bond between past and present generations.
The Principal addressed the gathering, encouraging everyone to be responsible citizens and contribute towards the progress of the nation through honesty, discipline, and service.
The celebration concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the ideals of our great nation and work together for a brighter future.
The event filled the hearts of all present with love for the country, pride in being Indians, and appreciation for the enduring connection shared by the Auxilium family.
