Today at Assam University, Silchar, a productive meeting was held with the Sribhumi District President, Hailakandi District President, Cachar District Vice President, General Secretary (Organisation), General Secretary, and the NSUI Unit of Assam University.

We discussed the major issues faced by students and focused on finding practical solutions. Students' welfare will always remain our priority.

This appears to be an organised act of violence by ABVP members against students peacefully protesting against the Admission Scam. The way students were targeted and attacked is deeply disturbing.

Violence against students is unacceptable.
ABVP, Shame on You.

An organised act of violence by ABVP against students peacefully protesting the Admission Scam is deeply shameful. The way protesting students were targeted and attacked is completely unacceptable.

Serious allegations have once again surfaced regarding the admission process at Assam University, Silchar. Last year, university students submitted evidence to the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar. After that, the university issued a public notice, but those responsible could not be identified.

This year, a student has alleged that ₹60,000 was demanded for a Master's admission and has also made allegations against Students' Union President Rajkinkar Chakraborty, who is associated with ABVP.

To ensure a fair and transparent investigation, the Students' Union President should first be suspended until the inquiry is completed. The allegations must be investigated independently, fairly, and transparently. If anyone is found guilty, strict action should be taken.

If a proper investigation is not carried out and those responsible are not identified, we will continue to raise our voice against corruption in the admission process at Assam University, Silchar.

अब देश के छात्र चुप नहीं बैठेंगे। NSUI पूरे देश में NEET 2026 न्याय अभियान शुरू कर रही है।

हमारी साफ माँगें हैं -
✊ NTA को तुरंत भंग किया जाए
✊ शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान इस्तीफा दें
✊ सुप्रीम कोर्ट की निगरानी में CBI जाँच हो
✊ छात्रों को फ्री मेन्टल हेल्थ सपोर्ट मिले
✊ प्रभावित छात्रों को फ्री लीगल ऐड दी जाए
✊ आर्थिक मुआवज़ा और वित्तीय सहायता

नई परीक्षा सिर्फ दोबारा तारीख घोषित करने तक सीमित नहीं होनी चाहिए। सरकार को छात्रों और उनके परिवारों के लिए फ्री ट्रांसपोर्ट, ठहरने और बुनियादी सुविधाओं की व्यवस्था भी करनी होगी।

अगर आप या आपका कोई अपना NEET 2026 से प्रभावित हुआ है, तो चुप मत रहिए। आपकी आवाज़ ही इस भ्रष्ट सिस्टम को बदल सकती है।
