As with all educational institutes in India NIT Silchar has its "Students Union Body" known as GYMKHANA STUDENTS UNION BODY. The members of the GYMKHANA UNION BODY are elected by all the students of the institute. Day 3, with the final round of Battle of bands, NITS Mun, confluence of talents through Cosplay, Yonsample and last but not the least, adding fuel to the exhilarating flame, the headliner of Thundermarch , "Polyphia", all the way from Texas, drawing in a huge crowd with a wide gape of jaws in awe, made the event best of its kind. As the time passes, a day comes when everything gets faded into the sands of time. But few moments of happiness gets embedded in our heart forever. Natraaj 2019 was one such memory.
Dance Club in association with Incandescence 2019 organized the annual dance module of NIT Silchar - Natraaj on 16th and 17th February.
Ground Zero was the street style dance battle which took place under the categories “Open Style” and pure “Breaking” on February 16th, 2019. Dancers from Silchar and nearby areas participated in the battle and fought for the best among them. We congratulate the winners and thank all the participants for making the evening wonderful.
We are grateful to each and every person of the Dance Club NIT Silchar aka NSD who contributed in making this event a grand success.

With yet another zest filled spirit of the students, no rain could stifle the enjoyment of day 2 .
'Natraaj', the unrivaled platform of the youth showcasing the energy & talent of remaining upbeat with dance moves , followed by various other cultural events like Indie Unplugged , with Tejas Menon letting the youth extol their euphoria. Also, studded with stellar nights like 'Carpedium' the stage for the celebrated artists Nikita Gandhi, band Parashara, & DJ Paranox,which proved to be massive crowd pullers.
