Hi All,
DNHS School (Udharbond)
This is one of the oldest schools in barak
valley thought to have been established way
back in 1896 AD.Though at that time it was
known as Durganagar Nayaram Pathshala.In the
year 1948 it was promoted to the level of a High
school as it offered courses upto class 10(Metric)
It got its present name through a series of
upgradation & transition.In 1979 it became a
Higher Secondary School.It has got the credit of
being the 1st Higher Secondary(10+2)school in
Udarbond offering quality education in
Science,Arts(Commerce stream has not been
added yet).The land for this school is said to
have been donated by Late Udarbond Jamidar
(Landlord) whose name was Nayaram & thatway
it got its name.It also holds the credit of
producing quality students who were able to
achieve what aimed for.This school is still
producing & will keep on producing great minds.
