KV Dholchera was established in the Year 1986 mainly to provide School education to the Children of BSF Employees and other transferable Central Government Employees. Though the Vidyalaya was sponsored by BSF a good number of local children including children of nearby tea garden staff are also availing the educational facility of the Vidyalaya. It exists in a remote place 20 KMs away towards nort
hwest of Silchar town. The School has successfully created a great educational awareness among the people around it and has been playing a great role in all round development of the location. Every year the Vidyalaya successfully participates in Regional Science Exhibitions, social science Exhibitions, games and sports activities. The Location of the Vidyalaya is Very Fine, peaceful and away from hustle and bustle of busy city life. It is green all around and the atmosphere is healthy- free from all types of pollution and health hazards. It should be developed into a full educational institution with all streams of school education and a hostel. Wishing it all success.
