In today’s evolving digital education landscape, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have become a crucial tool for expanding access to quality learning beyond traditional boundaries. MOOCs enable institutions and educators to offer structured, scalable, and flexible learning experiences to a wide audience using online platforms.
This one-day hybrid workshop is designed to equip college librarians and educators with the essential skills to create and manage MOOCs using Moodle LMS, an open-source learning management system widely adopted in academia. The sessions will provide both conceptual understanding and hands-on training to help participants integrate MOOCs into their institutional practices.
The integration of MOOCs is also increasingly relevant for institutions seeking to enhance quality benchmarks, digital infrastructure, and innovation practices, important areas considered in NAAC accreditation and assessment.
