Today, Vivek Home Senior Secondary School bid farewell to one of its most dedicated, sincere, and beloved teachers, Suman Deb. For the past 7.5 years, she has not just been a teacher, she has been a pillar of strength, a guiding light, and a source of constant inspiration for the school and its students.

From the very first day she joined, Suman ma’am poured her heart into her work. Her classrooms were filled with clarity, compassion, and commitment. Her students trusted her, admired her, and most importantly, grew under her guidance. Her consistent dedication helped the school achieve remarkable academic results, year after year, making her one of the most valuable assets of the teaching fraternity at Vivek Home.

Today, as we gathered to bid her farewell, the atmosphere was deeply emotional. Her present students stood with heavy hearts, knowing they were losing a teacher who shaped their learning and their confidence. Her passed-out students returned to school solely to express their love, respect, and gratitude, a true reflection of the impact she created in every batch she taught.

Every teacher of the school stood together, remembering her hard work, her patience, her ever-smiling presence, and the kindness with which she handled every responsibility. Tears, smiles, memories, and heartfelt words filled the room as we expressed our appreciation for all that she has done.

Suman ma’am’s departure marks the end of a beautiful chapter at VHSSS. Her contributions, her discipline, her bond with students, and her unwavering loyalty to the institution will forever remain a cherished part of our school’s history.

Today, VHSSS proudly conducted the Tata Building India School Essay Competition, a national-level initiative aimed at inspiring young minds to think about the nation’s growth and future.

Students participated with great enthusiasm as they wrote on the topic:
“Five things I will do to build a self-reliant India.”

The competition encouraged our students to reflect on responsibility, leadership, innovation and their role in building a stronger nation. It was wonderful to see them express their thoughts with confidence, creativity and clarity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Saket Kairi and the entire Tata team for coordinating with our school and making this event possible. Their support truly added value to today’s programme.

Today, VHSSS bid farewell to one of our most dedicated teachers, Ms. Binita Kumar, who has been selected for the Assam TET (TGT Science).

Our school celebrated the Freshers' Programme to warmly welcome the new Class 11 students into the Vivek Home Senior Secondary School family. The event was filled with joy, excitement, and vibrant energy.
