‘Metric Mela’ held at DVT on 4th March 2015 was a great success. Chief guest Mr. Dongare(EO Rahata), Mr. Haral (EO Shrirampur) and Mr. M.R. K Nair sir were present along with 2500 students from 20 schools, Principal DVT Primary, Secondary, DEMS, Mr. kirtane, Mrs. Shraddha, Snehal and all team members of SMDT were present on this occasion. Both EO were happy to see the response from the schools and they said that “ usually people don’t involve ZP schools in the events but SMDT is the first organization working for ZP schools and he assured their cooperation and help in all activities of SMDT. He also asked all ZP school teachers to take advantage of all SMDT activities and such activities are necessary for overall development and learning experience of child”.

A Grand Parade, Taekwand, Patriotic Song, Speech, etc., were the attraction of the Republic Day Celebrations of Dahanukar Vidyalaya Tilaknagar - 2015. The Flag hoisting was done by Chief Guest Shree.Shree.108 Shree. Vinayswaroop Bramhachariji Maharaj, Kanpur. Tilaknagar Industries Ltd., Dahanukar English Medium School and Dahanukar Vidyalaya Tilaknagar participated in the Republic Day Function 2015.

DVT Celebrated its Annual Gathering & Prize Distribution function for the year 2014-15 on 15th Dec-14. In this event students welcomed guest in a traditional way by performing Lezim. Students from DVT primary and Secondary showed their talent by performing in various Dramas and Dance. Students of both DVT primary and Secondary were awarded by Chief Guests for their excellence in Academics, Sports, Art, Drawing etc.

Photography, Music and Acting workshop was organised in DVT for DVT, DEMS and surrounding 9 wadis ZP schools on 10, 11, 16 and 17th of Dec-14. Students from University of Nations college, Lonavala viz. Mr. Sailo (from Mozoram), Mr.Roshan (from Nepal), Mr.Soles( From Manipur), Mr. Mark (from China), Mr. Suraj (from Pune), Mr. Alesha (From Maharashtra) gave guidance on Music, Camera-photography, Acting reaching 1050 students.. Students and team shot a film on cleanliness and no plastic 'Keep it Clean'

Founders Day Celebration on 13th Dec-14
DahanukarVidyalayaTilaknagar along with DEMS school celebrated founders day on 13th Dec-14. On this occasion a rally from school up to the statue of Hon. M.L. Dahanukar was organised. Students presented speech on life and work of Hon. M.L. Dahanukar. This was the first time when student from pre-primary DVT presented the speech.

World Aids Day was celebrated at Dahanukar Vidyalaya Tilaknagar on Dec.1 st. 2014. On this occasion awareness rally was organized, all teachers, students of participated in this rally. A street play was organized by team about AIDS awareness.
