In compliance with the guidelines issued by the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, a Parent–Teacher Meet (PTM) was successfully organized at PM SHRI Higher Secondary School Ramnagri Shopian on 22nd May 2026 at 2:00 PM in both the campuses (Old and New) of the institution.

The meeting was attended by the Principal, teaching staff, Parents, prominent citizens and students of the school. The programme commenced with an inaugural address by Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Dar, who highlighted the importance of regular interaction between parents and teachers for the academic and moral development of students.

Thereafter, Mr. Naseer Ahmad Bhat delivered an insightful speech emphasizing the vital role of parents in shaping the future of their children. He stressed the importance of maintaining close coordination and one-to-one communication with the Principal and teachers to ensure the holistic progress of students. During the interaction session, parents actively participated in discussions regarding the strengths and shortcomings of their wards, making the meeting constructive and meaningful.

At the conclusion of the programme, the Principal Sir, Mr Sheikh Mohammed Afzal expressed gratitude to all parents for their active participation and cooperation. He further encouraged them to remain associated with the school and participate enthusiastically in future meetings and academic activities.

The Parent–Teacher Meet concluded successfully in a cordial and collaborative atmosphere, strengthening the bond between the school and the parents for the betterment of students.

Parent–Teacher Meet will be held today, bringing together parents and teachers to discuss students’ academic progress, behavior, and overall development. The meeting aims to strengthen communication, address concerns, and set future learning goals. Today’s morning assembly was proudly hosted by Iqbal House.

During the morning assembly, Mr. Bilal Khan Sir briefs students about the importance and process of school elections. inspiring young minds towards democracy, discipline, and leadership.

Gandhian House proudly conducted the Morning Assembly with remarkable discipline, confidence, and enthusiasm, setting a positive and inspiring tone for the day ahead. The assembly reflected the true spirit of leadership, unity, and responsibility as students delivered their presentations with grace, coordination, and dedication.

Through meaningful thoughts, motivational words, and well-organized activities, the students beautifully highlighted the values of truth, peace, discipline, and teamwork. Their confident participation and collective spirit created an atmosphere filled with positivity, respect, and motivation for everyone present.

Stretching minds, strengthening bodies, and nurturing inner peace, a rejuvenating Yoga Session was organized at HSS Ramnagri under the inspiring leadership and guidance of respected Principal Sir, Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Afzal.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff, all coming together to embrace the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and inner harmony through the practice of yoga.

The atmosphere was filled with positivity, discipline, and mindfulness as participants performed various yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques aimed at improving concentration, flexibility, and overall health.
