A Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was held on 24/04/2026 at HSS Keller under the chairpersonship of the Principal, Mrs. Tanseema Jan. A large number of parents attended the meeting, where various academic matters and future plans were discussed in detail. Several important decisions were also taken on the spot for the betterment of students.

We were honored to host the Worthy Chief Education Officer Shopian today for an official inspection of our school.
It was a day filled with positive energy as the CEO interacted directly with our students, offering valuable guidance to help them excel in their academic journey. He expressed great joy in hearing from the students and seeing their enthusiasm firsthand. 📚💡
A special moment of the visit was the CEO’s high praise for our Worthy Principal, Mtr. Tanseema Jan. He commended her smart leadership, administrative skills, and her untiring efforts in decorating and uplifting the school environment. 🌹👏

HSS Keller hosted the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Quiz Competition), where four school teams competed, and the winning team, Team A, was announced for their exceptional talent.

A Slogan Writing Competition was successfully organized at HSS Keller today, on 17/06/2026, under the banner of the IEC Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. Students from different classes actively participated in the event, showcasing their creativity and awareness on the issue of drug abuse. Through their slogans, they conveyed strong messages to the general public about the dangers of illicit drugs and the need to combat this growing menace. The competition served as an effective platform to inspire students to contribute towards building a drug-free society.

Govt HSS Keller – Say No to Drugs
Today, our school organized a Poster Making Competition under the 100 Days IEC Action Plan of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
We were honored to have the SHO Keller from District Police Shopian with us. He interacted with students and encouraged them to stay away from drugs and lead a healthy and successful life.
Students showed great creativity and used art to spread awareness about a drug-free society. Together, we can make a difference.

Today, the Indian Army’s 20 RR (DOGRA) unit organized a vibrant and thought-provoking Essay Writing Competition at Govt. HSS Keller.
Students from both Govt. HSS Keller and Govt. HSS Narapora came together to share their perspectives on a powerful theme:
"Role of the Indian Army in Nation Building"
It was heartening to see the youth express their deep appreciation for the Army’s contributions—not just in safeguarding our borders, but in fostering peace, unity, and development across the country. The passion and clarity shown by these young writers remind us that the future of our nation is in very bright hands!

Green Initiative: Plantation Drive at HSS Keller
Anti-Drug Rally by HSS Keller
An impactful anti-drug rally was organized by Worthy Principal Keller in collaboration with the District Police Shopian and the local administration of Keller. The rally aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage the youth to adopt a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
Students, teachers, and police officials actively participated in the rally, holding banners and placards with strong messages against drug abuse. The participants marched through the main areas of Keller, spreading awareness among the public and urging everyone to stand united against the menace of drugs.
Officials from the District Police emphasized the importance of community cooperation in tackling drug-related issues and highlighted various initiatives taken to curb the spread of narcotics in the region.
The rally concluded with a pledge taken by all participants to stay away from drugs and to contribute towards building a safer and healthier society.
