Elite International English School School is situated in Thalner, Taluka Shirpur. This school was founded by Dr. Chhagan Godha Tele under Godhatma Shaikshanik Bahu-Uddeshiya Sanstha in 2006.

Elite International English School is located in Thalner, which used to be the first capital of the Faruqi kings, stands on the Tapi river, in Shirpur taluka about 10 km north-east of Dhule in the Maharashtra state of India. Our school is situated at the center north of Tapi, east of Arunavati, west of Aner Rivers and south of Satpura mountain rows. School is surrounded by beautiful green farm lan

ds of cotton & sugarcane. About 5 km north of school seven rows of Satpura Mountains stand tall. Situated on the banks of the Tapi and the foot of the fort is an old stone built temple dedicated to Thaleshwar. The name Thalner probably derived from this old temple of Thaleshwar. Lata Mangeshkar's mother was from Thalner. She was the daughter of Seth Haridas Ramdas Lad from Thalner.
