The Department of Electrical Engineering, R. C. Patel College of Engineering and Polytechnic, Shirpur successfully organized an Engineers’ Day Celebration and Expert Lecture on 15th September 2026.
The expert session was delivered by Er. Sandeep Pawar, M.Tech (Instrumentation), Deputy Executive Engineer, MSEDCL, Shirpur-1 Subdivision, on the highly relevant topics “Electrical Safety, Green Energy and Energy Conservation.”
The session was highly informative and enriching. Er. Sandeep Pawar Sir shared valuable technical knowledge, practical field experiences, and important safety guidelines, giving students a better understanding of the importance of electrical safety, adoption of green energy, and efficient utilization of energy in our day-to-day life and professional practice.
A special highlight of the programme was the *Energy & Electrical Safety Pledge*, where all participants collectively pledged to:

🌱 Promote and use green energy
💡 Conserve energy and avoid its wastage
🌍 Contribute towards a safer and sustainable environment
The programme was successfully coordinated by *Mr. N. S. Borse, Event Coordinator*.
