🩺 Procto Practices – Advancing Ayurveda Proctology
📍 Shivamogga | Sadguru Piles Clinic
A hands-on Proctology Surgical Training Programme for Ayurveda doctors was successfully conducted by *Jupiter Academy in association with Ayursampada*. The 3-day intensive workshop was hosted at Sadguru Piles Clinic, Shivamogga, focusing on surgical management of haemorrhoids, fissures, and fistulas.
👨⚕️ Under the expert guidance of Dr. Sathish H. S. and Dr. Ranjani Bidaralli, participants received step-by-step demonstrations followed by supervised hands-on surgeries. The unique feature of this training was the pre-surgical practice on dummies, ensuring clarity and confidence before actual patient procedures.
🧑⚕️Various proctology procedures such as Kshara Karma, hemorrhoidectomy, fistula probing, Kshara Sutra application, a**l dilatation, Cryosurgery, excision of sentinel tag, and fissurectomy were demonstrated.
🔖It was ensured that all participants gained clarity and hands-on experience in per re**al examination.
🎓 During the valedictory program, Dr. Narayanamurthy, Principal of National Pharmacy College, Shivamogga, handed over certificates and Procto Kits to the trained doctors. The event was graced by dignitaries including Dr. Chitralekha V. Krishna, Dr. Rashmi Sathish, and several esteemed practitioners from the region.
