Today at Malnad International School, students learnt the Importance of Place Value and Number System through fun-filled activities!* 🧮✨

Our tiny tots explored how numbers work - from Ones, Tens, Hundreds to Thousands - using abacus, base-10 blocks, place value charts and interactive games.

Through hands-on learning, they discovered that place value is the foundation of all mathematics and a key skill for daily life like shopping, money, and time.

🌟 Learning by doing, building strong number sense for life!

💚 *GREEN DAY CELEBRATION @ Malnad International School, Shivamogga* 💚

Our little stars shined in Green! 🍏✨

Today our tiny tots came dressed in lovely green attire and brought green colour objects. They enjoyed a fun-filled activity where they learnt the magic of colours - *Blue 🔵 + Yellow 🟡 = Green 🟢*

*Importance of the Celebration:*

*1. Colour Recognition:* Helps children identify and differentiate colours - foundation of visual learning.
*2. Concept of Colours:* Practical learning of Primary & Secondary colours by doing.
*3. Connection with Nature:* Green represents nature & plants - creates early awareness about environment.
*4. Language Development:* Learns new names of green fruits, vegetables and objects.
*5. Confidence Building:* Bringing objects and speaking about them improves confidence and social skills.

The main objective of the celebration was to make children aware of the colour green and its significance in nature through joyful learning.

Dear Parents,

Today, _Malnad International School_ proudly conducted the *Investiture Ceremony* to appoint our new *Student Council Leaders* for the academic year 2025-26.

We were honored to have *Sri Kumara S.R., Assistant Sub Inspector, District Armed Reserve Police, Shimoga* as our Chief Guest along with his wife Bhavya S K ma'am . Sir addressed the students and shared inspiring thoughts on leadership, discipline, duty, and service to the nation. He motivated our new leaders to lead with responsibility and set an example for others.

During the ceremony, badges were given to the newly elected Student election council members of 26-27,The student leaders took the oath to perform their duties with honesty, integrity, and dedication.

The Chief Guest also appreciated our school for grooming young leaders.Also gave information regarding Cyber bullying and Drug abuse,Motivated others to get good score and get those badges

The program concluded with a message that leadership is not just about a badge — every student has the potential to lead through discipline, teamwork, and good values.

We thank all parents for your support in nurturing responsible citizens.
