A one-week workshop on “Research Methodology & Data Analysis in Management”, organised under the MERU, PM–USHA Scheme, concluded on 29 November 2025 at the Himachal Pradesh University Business School (HPUBS). The workshop, held from 24–29 November 2025, brought together research scholars, faculty members, and postgraduate students for extensive training in contemporary research techniques and AI-enabled data analysis tools.
The Valedictory Session was graced by Prof. Joginder Singh Dhiman, Dean, Planning and Teachers’ Matters, as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the initiative of HPUBS in strengthening research competence among young scholars and emphasized the need for scientific temper, methodological clarity, and ethical research practices in modern academic work.
The session was presided over by Prof. Pramod Sharma, Director, HPUBS, and Prof. Dinesh Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management and Director, UCBS, who highlighted the importance of data-driven decision-making and encouraged participants to integrate research skills with managerial insight.
The workshop was expertly coordinated by Dr. Vinod Negi and organised under the leadership of Organising Secretary Dr. Puneet Bhushan. Dr. Rajesh Kumar was also present during the valedictory function.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in hands-on sessions on research design, hypothesis testing, AI-based data analysis, qualitative and quantitative methods, and the use of modern software tools. The participants expressed gratitude to HPUBS for providing a stimulating academic environment and enhancing their research capabilities.
The event concluded with certificate distribution and a vote of thanks, marking a successful and enriching academic initiative by HPUBS.
