Growing a Greener Tomorrow

The Environment Club of Auckland House School organised a tree plantation drive on the school campus. Around 20 saplings of Deodar, Walnut, Oak and Wild Pomegranate were planted, with 14 enthusiastic students actively participating in the initiative.

The students were accompanied by Ms Pratibha Sood and Ms Samriti Chauhan, along with our school gardener, Mr Chetan, who guided the students throughout the plantation activity.

The initiative aimed to foster environmental responsibility among students and inspire them to take meaningful steps towards creating a greener and healthier planet.

Plant today, nurture tomorrow. 🌿

A Proud Moment for Auckland House School

Heartiest congratulations to Araadhya Sethi, Batch of 2026, an alumna of Auckland House School, on her remarkable achievement at the National Grappling Championship held in Haridwar, where she won the Bronze Medal.

Adding another feather to her cap, Araadhya has successfully cleared the Grappling Referee Test and is now officially a Grappling Referee representing Himachal Pradesh.

We are immensely proud of Aradhya’s achievements and wish her continued success in her sporting and refereeing journey.

Racing Beyond Limits!

A proud moment for Auckland House School as Tejasvi Kuthiala of Form-V secures an impressive 3rd Rank in India and 8th Rank in Asia in the 500m event at the Asian Open Short Track Speed Skating Trophy 2026 held in Dehradun.

Competing against talented skaters from China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong, Tejasvi showcased remarkable speed, skill and determination.

Her speed, determination and sporting spirit have made us immensely proud. Congratulations, Tejasvi, on this remarkable achievement! May you continue to glide towards greater heights.

Mimansa Literary Festival | 19–21 August 2026

A celebration of words, imagination, creativity and young voices!

Our students proudly participated in the three-day Mimansa Literary Festival, organised by the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with Keekli Charitable Trust. The festival brought together 350+ young minds from schools, colleges and universities across Shimla, creating a vibrant platform for literary and artistic expression.

IIMUN Orientation Session

An insightful IIMUN Orientation Session was conducted by Mr. Brijesh Joshi- IIMUN Team, providing students with an introduction to the organisation, its vision, functioning, and various opportunities it offers. The session also created awareness about the upcoming IIMUN Conference, which will be hosted by Auckland House School from 16th to 18th October.

The orientation helped students gain a better understanding of IIMUN and prepared them for the upcoming conference.

RBI Shimla Visit

On 19th August 2026, the students of Form XI and XII visited the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Shimla, for an educational interaction. The students learned about the working, functions, and responsibilities of the RBI, including monetary policy, regulation of banks, currency management, and foreign exchange management.

They also gained insights into the RBI’s extended roles, such as promoting financial inclusion, digital payments, financial literacy, and consumer protection. The visit helped students connect their economic concepts with their practical application and was an enriching learning experience.

IIMUN Championship Conference 2026 | Mumbai
6th August-9th August 2026

12 students of Auckland House School accompanied by one teacher, participated in the I.I.M.U.N. Championship Conference 2026 in Mumbai, gaining enriching exposure to contemporary issues, leadership, and global perspectives.

The Championship Conference provided students with an immersive Model United Nations experience, where they were assigned different portfolios as delegates representing various committees and were given specific agendas to deliberate upon. Through committee sessions, discussions, debates, and diplomatic interactions, the students developed their research, communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

The conference also provided opportunities to listen to and interact with eminent personalities, including Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Amit Tripathi, Rajdeep Sardesai, Saina Nehwal, P.T. Usha, Nadir Godrej, Boman Irani, Dr. Shriram Nene, Gen. V.P. Malik, Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Air Chief Marshal P.V. Naik, Amb. Ruchi Ghanashyam and Amb. J.N. Misra.

Sessions focused on leadership, civil services, media literacy, mental resilience, education, environment, economy, and responsible citizenship.

An insightful and enriching experience that encouraged our students to think critically, engage meaningfully with diverse perspectives, and become informed, confident, and conscientious global citizens.

🇮🇳 Happy 80th Independence Day!

Auckland House School, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The celebrations commenced with a proud NCC March Past, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by the Director-Principal, Ms. Smaraki Samantaroy. The ceremony continued with the rendition of the National Song and National Anthem by our students.

The celebrations then moved to the school auditorium, where a soulful Prayer Service led by Rev. Pulak Samantaroy set a reflective tone for the occasion. The cultural programme that followed was a vibrant celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage. Students of the Lower Primary and Upper Primary Division presented a lively action song, “मेरा मुल्क, मेरा देश” filling the auditorium with patriotic spirit and energy.
The students of the Lower Primary, Upper Primary and Senior School also presented a captivating array of dance performances, showcasing their talent, enthusiasm and love for the nation.

Career Counselling Session

The Career Counselling Club of Auckland House School, Shimla, organised a session for students of Classes IX to XII on 14th August 2026, conducted by Ms Swati Sachdeva and Ms Shilpa Sengar, Senior Managers – Outreach, Eruditus. The session aimed to enlighten students about the growing opportunities for pursuing global education in India, with international universities establishing campuses across the country. Ms Sachdeva and Ms Sengar highlighted the benefits of international education and encouraged students to explore these emerging opportunities while making informed choices about their higher education and careers.

ICICI Bank Visit- 14.08.2026

Twenty-six students of Class 10 Economic Applications had the opportunity to visit ICICI Bank, The Mall, Shimla, for an insightful and informative field study.

Mr. Abhishek Narwal, Chief Manager, ICICI Bank, conducted an engaging session and explained the role of banks in the Indian economy, the history of banking, and career opportunities in the banking sector.

The students actively interacted with the officials and raised queries about how ICICI Bank differs from other banks, its contribution to the Indian economy, and the qualifications required to pursue a career with ICICI Bank.

The students also had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Apurva Negi, an alumna of Auckland House School, who shared valuable insights into career opportunities at ICICI Bank and guided the students on various career pathways.
