The Inter-House English Elocution for Classes IV–XII was a vibrant display of confidence, expression, and eloquence.

CISCE Regional Games 2026 — A Celebration of Sporting Excellence

Bishop Cotton School, Shimla proudly hosted the CISCE Regional Games for Athletics, Basketball, and Soccer from 12th to 14th June 2026. Over ten schools from across Himachal Pradesh participated in the three-day event.

The Games were inaugurated by Headmaster Mr. Mathew John and Guest of Honour Mr. Praveen Dharma. Athletes displayed outstanding talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

BCS Highlights:
Athletics: BCS won the Overall Championship Trophy in Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories. Ashwin was named Best Athlete in the Under-19 category. Atharav and Tanish also delivered notable performances.
*Basketball*: Bishop Cotton School secured Championship titles in Under-14 and Under-17. The Under-19 team finished as runners-up.
*Soccer*: The Soccer teams won Gold Medals in all three categories — Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 — qualifying for the State Level Tournaments.

The closing ceremony was graced by Senior Master Pastoral Mr. Dinesh Thakur, who presented medals and trophies to the winners. The tournament was a grand success and reflected the values of discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and sporting excellence.

Bishop Cotton School was honoured to welcome Mrs. Louise Moelwyn-Hughes, The Master of Marlborough College, along with Mr. Owen Moelwyn-Hughes and Old Cottonian Kanav Monga (Batch of 1998) and family.

Double Championship Triumph for Bishop Cotton School

Bishop Cotton School enjoyed a memorable outing at the CISCE Zonal Cricket Tournament 2026 hosted by , with both the Under-14 and Under-17 teams crowned champions.

Remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament, the Under-14 team defeated by 140 runs in the final, while the Under-17 team secured a 79-run victory over .

Angad Lather was named Best Batsman, Man of the Match, and Man of the Series in the Under-14 category. In the Under-17 category, Ishaan Jaiswal earned the Best Batsman and Man of the Series awards, while Mukul Singh was adjudged Best Bowler.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Interactors R. Kakkar, R. Chandel, R. Das, Shashwat Sharma, Ajeyraghav, and A. Jinder, accompanied by Mrs. R. Lal, participated in a Tree Plantation Drive and Water Body Restoration Programme at Baldeyan, organised by the Himachal Pradesh Home Guards, Civil Defence, Fire Services & SDRF in collaboration with the Rotary Club.

The students planted indigenous saplings and gained valuable insights into disaster management through interactive demonstrations and presentations by the SDRF. Participants from all four houses delivered powerful speeches from memory, with no digital aids. Their confidence, clear diction, voice modulation, and persuasive delivery reflected strong preparation and passion for public speaking.
