Recently, there has been a surge in cyber attack attempts against India by neighboring country Pakistan. These attacks aim to steal personal information, banking details, and cause harm to digital assets of Indian citizens. The public is advised to follow the cybersecurity measures mentioned below to stay protected:

Important Precautions:
• Do not click on any unknown links, emails, or WhatsApp messages.
• Avoid opening suspicious files in “.exe”, “.apk”, or “.zip” formats, especially files named 'Dance of Hillary'.
• Do not click or share any suspicious, misleading, or provocative links on social media.
• Ensure antivirus software on your mobile and computer is always up to date.
• Avoid sharing sensitive data while using public Wi-Fi networks.
• Keep your banking apps and passwords secure. Do not share OTPs or passwords with anyone.
• Report any suspicious cyber activity immediately to your local police or on the national cybercrime portal: https://www.cybercrime.gov.in
