Advance Teachers’ Day 2026 | A Celebration Planned with Love 💚🌸

With 5 September falling on a Saturday and the preceding Friday being a public holiday, our students did not want Teachers’ Day to pass without the celebration their teachers deserved. So, they chose to celebrate a little early, making sure that the long weekend could be enjoyed without missing the joy of honouring their teachers.

🌿 World Environment Day 2026 at LEADS 🌿

With the theme of “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future”, LEADS celebrated World Environment Day with a meaningful programme led by students. The event began with a school assembly where the Guest of Honour, Bah Nick, an environmental activist, encouraged students to be **passion-driven in protecting the environment** and to work towards the betterment of society—not only for this generation but for generations to come. Quoting Galatians 6:9, he reminded everyone to continue doing good and never give up.

The celebration continued with a cleaning drive around the school area, followed by drawing and badge-making competitions and a creative Trash-Fashion Show, where students transformed waste and plastic into inspiring designs promoting reduce, reuse and renew. The students showed that meaningful actions today can create a cleaner and greener future. 🌎

The Advanced Good Friday Service at LEADS School was a profoundly moving experience today, marked by a beautiful sense of community and reverence. The atmosphere was set by our dedicated teachers, whose harmonious voices filled the room as they led the processional singing "Walking in the Light," a powerful reminder of the path illuminated by grace.

We were further blessed to have Pastor Balajied Kharbudon, one of our students' parents, deliver a stirring message on the boundless love of God and the transformative forgiveness of sins. This gathering of faculty and students served as a poignant reminder that even in the solemnity of the cross, we find a shared hope and a light that guides us forward together.
