Dear Students,

Martin Luther Christian University is looking for two confident student representatives to become the official faces of MLCU — Mel (The People Person) and Sue (The Strategic Dreamer)!

If you’re comfortable on stage and speaking in front of others, have led or contributed to something that made campus life better, or have hosted events at school, church, or in your community — this could be for you. Formal experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

What you’ll gain:

Hands-on experience in marketing, content creation & brand representation
Featured across MLCU’s Instagram, website, materials & podcast
Certificate of recognition and a letter of experience
Full onboarding, training for stage presence & on-camera confidence, and outfits provided for all appearances and shoots
💰 Remuneration of Rs. 10,000/- each at the end of the term

Making his mark on Meghalaya’s historic national triathlon debut, Dr. Ardonister Lyngdoh secured a Silver Medal at the National Age Group Triathlon Championship in Pune on August 15–16, 2026.

Competing at the national level in swimming, cycling and running, Dr. Ardonister delivered a standout performance and earned his place on the podium, a remarkable achievement in Meghalaya’s first-ever national triathlon campaign.

Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU), Shillong, is proud to receive an international research and documentation grant from the British Museum, London, under the Endangered Material Knowledge Programme (EMKP).

The project, led by Dr. Rajindra K. Puri, with Dr. Larilin Kharpuri and Dr. Pranjal Dubey as Co-Principal Investigators, will document the traditional fishing tools and ecological knowledge of the Pnar community in Meghalaya—preserving indigenous heritage and promoting sustainable environmental stewardship for future generations.
