Gilead Learning Center came together for a small Thanksgiving Service, thanking God for India’s journey, achievements and blessings, while praying for the areas where our nation still needs growth—unity, justice, peace and respect for all.

Our students prayed for India, reflected on their responsibility as future citizens, and asked, “What can I do for my country?” They also created little handmade tokens of India as an expression of their love for our nation. ❤️🇮🇳

Grateful for how far we’ve come. Prayerful for where we need to go. Committed to being a blessing to India.

“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city… Pray to the LORD for it.” — Jeremiah 29:7 🙏🇮🇳

The Lord is good - the weather was just perfect. So apt for Caleb's going home celebration!
The school choir will surely miss their enthusiastic drummer and buddy. Through this, may they also find the strength and hope because there is that 'ONE DAY!'

The funeral for our dear Caleb will be tomorrow July 22, 2026 at 2pm. The school administration has declared a holiday for tomorrow.

Jovial he was always!!

Here's who Caleb was. We cherish such memories of this one of a kind precious soul.

Caleb was a gentle soul who loved Jesus wholeheartedly. A vivid music enthusiast and for his age, his passion for the drums and the guitar can be well summed up in two words: 'irrepressible optimist.' He was one kind of a child that would make you love him the moment you meet him. His subtle smile, his funny witty sentences and his hugs were just something to remember. But his love for His redeemer is just unfathomable and for Him, he was a fighter till the end and his testament says it all. No one can fathom the pain he endured at his age but his solace and peace can only come from within. He knows where to meet His Savior and friend and had prepared all the way through. His life was also the testimony of his upbringing. His parents had done the best for Caleb to nurture him in the way he should follow, and today we bear witness of the same.

Heartbroken, yes! But hope is found only in the comfort of the Holy Spirit for anyone who know Caleb including his friends.

Psalms 34:18 reminds us all that in such a time as this:"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

This is the comfort and awesome hope though we grief but crying may last for the night as joy comes in the morning! (Psalms 30:5)

We thank God for this day as we once again get to witness the hard work of these wonderful kids at the Reading Readiness Graduation Program - June 9, 2026.

We'd also like to thank all concerned parents for your patience with us and to see them grow in wisdom and understanding through these intensive months.

We are thankful and overjoyed with the presence of Mr Vijay Mantri IAS, Commissioner & Secretary Education and Mrs Sandra from the Directorate of Educational Research and Training (DERT), Government of Meghalaya, at this graduation program and also for his encouraging words to the school and parents.
